Privacy Policy

FindLOS is a line-of-sight planning service run by Nav Wireless Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India ("we"). This page says what we collect when you use FindLOS, why, where it is kept, who else handles it for us, and how long we keep it.

1. Your coordinates, in one paragraph

No FindLOS staff screen shows your coordinates; they are stored encrypted at rest and sent only to the terrain provider you chose.

To draw the ground between two sites, the site coordinates you enter are sent to Google, or to the open terrain source, to fetch terrain. In Link Studio, the experimental optical planner, a site's location is also sent to Open-Meteo to fetch the weather. Our own log lines never contain coordinates.

2. What we collect

• Your Google account: name, e-mail address, profile photo and Google account id, when you sign in with Google. We never see your Google password.
• Your work in FindLOS: the sites you analyse (coordinates, names, mounting heights, clearance margin), the results, the links and places you save, and the reports you download.
• Credits and usage: your credit balance, each credit added or used, and what each analysis cost us at the map provider's list price.
• Purchases: the Razorpay order and payment references, the amount, the GST, and the state you give us for the GST invoice. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay only; we never see or store them.
• Messages you send us: the contact form and feedback (name, e-mail, company and phone if you give them, and the message).
• Technical records: Google Cloud records each request to FindLOS (time, page, a request reference and the IP address), and the browser sends us error reports without coordinates.

3. Why we use it

• To sign you in, run your analyses and build your reports.
• To keep your credit balance and usage correct, and to take payments and issue GST invoices.
• To approve accounts, answer you, and send the e-mails the service needs (approval, receipts, team notices).
• To find and fix faults, and to stop abuse.
• To meet our legal duties, such as keeping tax records.

We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use analytics or advertising cookies.

4. Where it is kept

• Database: Google Cloud Firestore in Mumbai, India (region asia-south1), encrypted at rest by Google.
• The FindLOS server: Google Cloud (Firebase App Hosting), today in the United States (region us-central1). We plan to move it to Singapore (region asia-southeast1); this page will say so when it happens.
• Logs: Google Cloud Logging, kept 30 days.

Everything between your browser and FindLOS travels over HTTPS. Every page also tells your browser which sites it may load code from (a Content-Security-Policy, CSP), so a script from anywhere else is refused.

5. Who handles it for us

• Google Cloud: hosting, the database and logs.
• Google Maps Platform: the map, place search, terrain heights and road routes. Site coordinates you enter are sent to Google, or to the open terrain source, to fetch terrain.
• Google sign-in: confirms who you are.
• Razorpay: takes payments; it has your payment details, we do not.
• Resend: sends our transactional e-mails (approval, receipts, invoices, team notices), from its Tokyo region.
• ImprovMX: forwards mail sent to support@findlos.com to our team.
• Open-Meteo: weather for Link Studio only.

Each of them handles your data under its own terms and privacy policy, only to do this work for us.

6. How long we keep it

• Your account: while it is open.
• Analysis history: 3 years from each analysis.
• Contact messages and feedback: 2 years.
• Records of report downloads: three months.
• Payments and invoices: 6 years, as Indian tax law requires.
• Logs: 30 days.

7. Your choices and rights

• See or correct your data: write to us and we will send you a copy or fix it.
• Download your history: the Dashboard has a "Download History" button.
• Delete your account: write to us. We delete your account and your work; payment records and invoices stay for the period the law requires.
• Stop Google sign-in access: in your Google account settings, under third-party access.

8. Cookies and storage in your browser

• One sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. FindLOS cannot work without it.
• Your browser's local storage keeps your workspace and preferences on your device.

9. Children

FindLOS is for professionals and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

When this policy changes we update this page and its effective date. For a change that matters to how your data is used, we will also tell you in FindLOS or by e-mail.
