Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this is

FindLOS (the "Service") is run by Nav Wireless Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India ("we"). By signing in or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

FindLOS checks whether two sites can see each other in a straight line over the real ground, using terrain heights from Google or from an open terrain source. It also offers bulk analysis, fiber route planning, relay spot checks, field alignment tools, reports and an experimental optical planner (Link Studio).

3. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. New accounts wait for our approval before they can run analyses or buy anything.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you must not share it.
We may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service at risk. We tell you why unless the law or the safety of the Service prevents it.
If your organisation gives you a seat on a FindLOS team, your team's rules and monthly pool apply to your analyses, and you cannot buy packs while the team is active.

4. Credits, packs and payment

What a credit buys: 1 credit = a new pair of sites; changing heights or the margin is free. Running a pair of sites you already analysed again is free for 90 days. A fiber route or a relay spot check uses 1 credit each. Reports for analysed links are free.
Free analyses: an approved account receives a number of free analyses, shown on the pricing page.
Credit packs: the packs and their prices are listed on the pricing page. Prices are shown without GST. Before you pay, our buy sheet shows the price, the 18 % GST and the total; Razorpay charges exactly that total, and nothing is added at the payment step.
Credits never expire. They are not money: they cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account.
Daily limit: to protect the Service we may limit how many new pairs of sites one account analyses in a day. Re-runs are never limited.
Pro: Pro opens soon — ask us for a trial. Pro is not on sale yet. Before it is, we will add its terms here (the monthly price, the usage allowance and how renewal and cancellation work). A Pro trial we grant runs for the period we tell you and costs nothing.
Receipts and GST invoices: we e-mail a receipt for every purchase. When we issue a GST tax invoice it comes with that e-mail and can be downloaded again from Settings, under Purchases.
Refunds: a pack you have not used at all can be refunded within 7 days of buying it; write to us from the e-mail address on your account. A refund takes the pack's credits back. Credits already used are not refundable.
Payment disputes: while a chargeback or dispute is open, new purchases on the account are on hold. If the money is returned to you, the pack's unused credits are taken back.
Price changes: we may change prices for future purchases by updating the pricing page. Credits you already have keep their value, and any paid period runs to its end at the price you paid.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use scripts, bots or scrapers on the Service;
get around credit checks, limits or security measures;
reverse engineer or copy the Service;
resell access to the Service or its results as a service of your own without our written permission;
use the Service for anything unlawful, or overload or disrupt it.

6. Your data

Your saved links, analyses and reports remain yours. What we collect, where it is kept, who handles it and how long it is kept is in our Privacy Policy: findlos.com/privacy

7. Our property

The Service — its software, design, methods, name and logo — belongs to Nav Wireless Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; you may use the reports you download for your own and your clients' work.

FindLOS includes Google Maps features and content; their use is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Results are estimates

Results come from terrain data that leaves out trees, most buildings and recent construction, and that has its own errors. They are planning estimates, not a substitute for a site survey or an engineer's judgement. The clearance margin exists to cover what the terrain data cannot see; check every link on site before you build. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

9. Limits of our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, or decisions made on the basis of results. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We post the new text here with a new effective date and, for a change that matters to you, tell you in FindLOS or by e-mail. Using the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.

11. Law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction.
